So I would be very-very grateful if you could suggest me some books. I like when MCs are suprised of the attraction and confused what the hell is happening because they've been previously straight or smth like that. Only recently I discovered that there are some really good MM romances out there with rather villain-like/serious/bad-ass/masculine men. Too fast burn (I often DNF 'cause the couple gets together too fast and there isn't any interesting tension left). I want them to be reluctant of their attraction (!), to try to fight it, to have those explosive moments where they are arguing and the tension builds up and they start kissing and afterwards still have that reluctance and confusion over wtf just happened or too light in the way that the MMC isn't bad-ass enough - I'm really sucker for the "college king" theme) or not BDSM or dub-con stuff, but just not the la la la feeling with a lot of humor and zero sexual buildup and tension (however, there can be humor in the friend group). Too light (but I like more darker setting. There are many similar posts but somehow I've scrolled and scrolled and just don't have many books to read. The thing with mice, they grow claws, I loved seeing our heroine evolve, moving from the shadows into the light, with a new friendship and her friend pushing her to try new things to get out of her comfort zone, to stick up for herself, she goes from this timid shy girl to one that I barely recognised but loved just the same.Hi! I know, I know. His dislike and his taunts towards her spiralled out of control when she started getting under his skin, in his head. Raine had skated through school always in the background, no friends, no social life, living in the shadows where she seemed happy enough to be, until she came under Carter's radar, the hot footballer and King of the school, all of a sudden he despised her with a vengeance which she couldn't understand. Throw in the three hot boys the angst and the halloween games and I was all in.This kept me entertained and glued to my ipad throughout, I didn't want it to end.
I blame it all on the cover, one look and then I was off to Amazon one clicking!! So I'm glad it turned out to be a winner for me!! As soon as I started I was hooked, such a unique, unputdownable read, I loved how this book unfolded, I loved these two together, the invisible mouse and the king of the school. Is a full length bully romance standalone novel by new to me author 'Becca Steele' Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'
